Electrifying your life

Hepburn Energy and BREAZE Inc are working together to help communities across the Grampians – Central West region to save money, improve comfort and switch to cheaper electric appliances. 

Until June 2026, we will deliver a community-focused program helping locals to take advantage of  Government sponsored incentives to get off gas and electrify your home or community facility. This project is funded under the Community Electrification Engagement Program – a Sustainability Victoria program delivered on behalf of the Victorian Government. 

The Region comprises the 11 Local Government areas of Ararat, Ballarat, Golden Plains, Hepburn, Moorabool, Pyrenees, Hindmarsh, Horsham, Northern Grampians, West Wimmera and Yarriambiack. It also spans traditional lands of the Dja Dja Wurrung, Eastern Maar, Gunditjmara, Wadawurrung, Wurundjeri and Wotjobaluk peoples.

Community members can register their interest in the following activities via this web form by clicking the button below:

  • Becoming a Home Energy Champion and helping to spread the electrification word
  • Helping to promote the opportunities locally
  • Attending online sessions, such as information webinars
  • Attending face-to-face events

Are you ready to electrify your life but not sure what next steps to take?

We are offering free personal consultations sessions in person or online to help you work how to electrify your life.

These sessions are available to people living in central and western regional Victoria, and Hepburn Energy Members.

The electric vehicle (EV) sector is booming, with over 100 EVs on the market in Australia and more new models on the way.

In this session we will talk about the explosion of new models of EVs available, what models are popular in the local region, home charging options and what it is like to run a regional public charging network.
